Ben Larry Beavers, 75, Tuscumbia, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Visitation will be Sunday, May 4, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with bro. Shane Swinney officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.
Ben was a veteran of the US Marine Corp. and a member of Launch Point Church Tuscumbia. He was the owner and operator of Southeastern Concrete. Ben was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved watching his boys and grandchildren play ball. He never missed a practice or a game. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Juanita Beavers; and in-laws, Junior and Hazel Grissom.
Ben is survived by his loving wife of fifty-seven years, Glenda Beavers; sons, Shane Beavers (Mandy) and Brett Beavers; grandchildren, Blake, Drake (Summer), Jordan (Madison), Ali Beth (David), and Savana (Justin); eight great-grandchildren, Kasen, Harper, Finleigh, Wrenleigh, Waverly, Whitley, Baylor, and Mylee; and sister-in-law, Janice Ellison (Chris).
