Remembering the laughter, the joy, and the unwavering love of Arnold Richard Collins, who departed this world on July 27th. He filled our lives with warmth and happiness. He was 72 years old.
He was a fireman for many years at the Albertville Fire Department and continued his career as Fire Captain for TVA. During his time at TVA, he also created his own sign business known as Graphics Plus Design. After retiring from TVA, he continued his business and now has many signs and monuments throughout the Southeast.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bartow and Avis Collins. He is survived by his wife, Renee Collins of Albertville; children, Collin Collins (Rachel) and Zack Collins (Kimberly), both of Albertville; stepdaughter, Allison Lewis of Guntersville; grandchildren, Abbi, Lilli, and Kynzley Collins; sister, LaRue Calcote of GA.; brother-in-law, Joel Cobb (Kim); sisters-in-law, Jennifer Davis (Greg) and Sally Cobb; mother-in-law, Shirley Cobb; nephews, Justin Booth, Matthew Duvall (Stella), and Elliott Duvall (Sarah); nieces, Vanessa Cox and Jessica White (Corey).
Graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at New Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, 2150 New Friendship Road, Union Grove, AL 35175, with Bro. Chris Reaves officiating.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 4:30 until 7:00 p.m. at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home.
