Billy Ray Keel, born December 10th, 1935, passed away Sunday May 3rd 2026 at the age of 90.
He was preceded in death by father, Orville Leamon Keel; mother, Gertrude Clay Keel; wife, Martha Nell Keel; son, Jeffery Ray Keel; brothers, Clinton Keel, J.W. Keel and Kenneth Keel and sisters, Leora Whorton, Margie Whorton, Ruby Hill, Pauline Collie and June Cooper.
Survivors include his sons, Billy Wayne Keel (Phillip), Bruce Douglas Keel (Brenda) and David Leamon Keel (Michelle); spouse, Sara Keel; grandchildren, Tyler Keel (Keylee), MacKenzie Keel, Brandon Keel, Michela Dunavan (Will), Misty Keel, Charles Helton and Chris Helton; several great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Brown Cemetery, Tuesday at 2:00 pm with Mike Keel officiating. Pallbearers will be Tyler Keel, Brandon Keel, Wally Keel, Jeremy Whitaker, Billy Payne and Scott Stone
