Betty Lansdell Tucker, 79, passed away Monday, October 5, 2026, at her home in Mooreville. She was born April 25, 1947 to the late Jack Lansdell and the late Annie Lee Martin Lansdell. She attended the West Mooreville Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to yard sales early to get the best picks before others had a chance and also to negotiate a deal. She loved scrolling Facebook on her Ipad keeping up with the social world. Betty was always the best dressed for whatever occasion in bright colors and loved her blinged out accessories. When at home she took care of whatever animal came her way and very fond of her dogs. She was a mother to many especially the neighborhood kids and also her Girl Scouts. More importantly she loved all of her family.
Betty’s celebration of life service will be 12:00 pm on October 9, 2026, at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Chad Franks officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday October 8, 2026 at Senter Funeral Home. Burial will be at Boguefala Cemetery in Mooreville. Senter Funeral Director’s is honored to serve the family.
Survivors inlcude her daughter, Melissa (Jenny Hensley) Tucker of Cookeville, TN; son, Bobby “Junior” (Sonya) Tucker, of Marietta; sisters: Nita (Scott) Blanchard, Debbie (Roger) Franks; brother, James (Geraldine) Lansdell; caregivers/adopted daughters: Angie Lesley, Nancy Moss, Alma Foote,Chole Foote, Madison Umfress.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband; Bobby Tucker Sr. sisters: Carolyn Bedford, Cora Cayson, Bobbie Smith, Shirley Lansdell
