Brenda Ruth Kiser Thornton, 76, of Tuscumbia, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2026.
Brenda retired from The Village Shop and was a member of Redemption Shoals. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Blanche Kiser.
Brenda is survived by her husband, David Barclay Thornton; sons, Bryan David Thornton (Emily) and Jeffrey Todd Thornton; sister, Patricia Kiser Abernathy (Mike), neices and nephew Karen Abernathy, Kristin Kennamer, and Michael Abernathy; and grandchildren, Mary Beck Thornton and Price
Thomas Thornton.
There will be a private memorial service.
