Larry Owen Davis, 77, of Muscle Shoals, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026. Visitation will be Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia with the funeral service immediately following in the funeral home chapel. Thomas Thornton and Dr. Jeff Davis will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Larry was native of Cherokee and lifelong resident of the Shoals. He was retired from the Muscle Shoals School Systems and an avid Alabama Football fan. He was a member of Abbie Baptist Church and was a committed Christian serving in numerous churches as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and Song Leader. He was preceded in death by his parents and all of his siblings.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Linda Kay Moreland Davis; sons, Dr. Jeff Davis (Jennifer) and Markel Lee Davis (Tanya); five grandchildren, Brynli Jane Ragan (Seth), Kaden Davis (Courtney), Karleigh Davis, Easton Davis, and Taylor Davis; and three great grandchildren, Abigail Ragan, Annslee Davis, and Avery Davis.
Pallbearers will be Kaden Davis, Seth Ragan, Mike Blevins, Matt Davis, Donald Moreland and Jeremy Bates.
