Freddie D. Mauldin, 81, of Muscle Shoals, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026. Visitation will be Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia with the funeral service immediately following in the funeral home chapel. Farrell Retherford and Wendell Riner will officiate the service. His burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens.

Freddie was a native of Colbert County. He was a Vietnam War Veteran, a Crane Operator for Reynold’s Aluminum, a member of the I.B.E.W. Local 558, and a longtime member of Spring Valley Church of Christ. He enjoyed participating in Team Roping competitions and won several events in Rodeos. He also loved Gospel music and was strong in his Christian Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Susie Mauldin; sister, Shirley Davis; brothers, John Mauldin and James David Mauldin.

Freddie is survived by his loving wife Carolyn Mauldin; daughter, Celecia Davis (Eric); grandchildren, Laken Davis and Chaylee Davis; great grandchildren, Braylee, Baylor, and Adston; niece, Kathy D. Holdbrooks; and nephew, Randy L. Davis.

Pallbearers are Cameron Isbell, Junior Riner, Eric Davis, Edward Riner, Mike Chaney, and Charles Lowery. Honorary pallbearer is Jerry Dover.
