Edria Ann Shelton Norton, aged 84, of Athens, Alabama passed away April 20th, 2026 at her residence. Edria was born in Athens, Alabama on February 17th, 1942 to Floyd Edward Shelton and Ruth Barker Shelton.
Edria is survived by her husband, Donald Norton, daughters; Donna Black, Angela Norton, and Mandi Ann Norton, sister; Helen Ruth Duncan, five grandchildren; Hunter Davis, Austin Davis, Haley Smith, Britney Black, and Justin Black, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Edria was a member of Sardis Springs Baptist Church for over forty years.
She also was a Chief Clerk for the Limestone County Courthouse for over forty-five years.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, April 23rd, 2026 at 1 pm with Jeffrey Oates officiating at: Sardis Springs Baptist Church 18310 SR-251 Athens, Alabama 35613.
