Mrs. Barbara Ann (Campbell) Allen was born on July 9,1943 in Limestone County, Alabama. She is also known to many as Mama, Bob and Boba. She has helped raise or feed half of Limestone County at one point in her life or another. Her greatest joys were cooking for those that she loved, cheering for her babies at their ball games, and canning anything that would fit into a jar.
Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband James (Jimmy) Allen, mother Elaine (Smith) Campbell, father Woodard Campbell, brothers Joe and James Campbell, sisters Martha Jane, Betty Ruth, Mary Elizabeth.
Mrs. Allen went home to be with the Lord on April 20, 2026 at the age of 82 years old. She leaves to carry on the memories and legacy of her life, daughters Renee Townsend (Ricky Pepper), Kim Carr (Randy), and Jaime Young (Josh); two brothers Steve Campbell and Tim Campbell; one sister Tina Campbell; sister-in-law Fran Campbell; her beloved best friend and sister-in-law Wanda Campbell. Anyone that knows her knows she lived for her grandchildren Julia (Jamie/Hunny) Franklin, Molly (Caleb) McCrary, Preston (Lexi) Carr, Titus Pepper; her greatest blessings were her great-grandchildren Hunter Fitts, Brody Micklow, Hudson Fitts, Gracynn Lawhorn, Jonah Lawhorn, Koen McCrary; plus several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of people she thought of and loved like family.
