With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, and pillar of our family.
He was a devoted husband to Amalia Cortes, whom he loved above all else, and a proud and caring father to Guadalupe Cortes, Genoveva Cortes, Norma Cortes, Miguel Cortes, Ramon Cortes Jr., Jesus Cortes, and Lola Cortes. His family was the center of his world, and he led it with strength, kindness, and unwavering love. He was also a cherished father-in-law to Bertha Rodriquez, Fabiola Calderon, Juan Antonio Lugo, and Muhammad Abrar, who were grateful for his guidance, warmth, and wisdom.
Known for his noble spirit and gentle heart, he was deeply loved and respected by all who knew him. He found joy in simple and meaningful things—tending to vegetables, caring for animals who seemed naturally drawn to his kindness, and lifting his voice in song in praise of the Lord.
He was the heart and joy of our family, a wise and steady presence whose love will continue to guide us. His legacy lives on in the values he instilled, the love he gave so freely, and the many lives he touched.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
