Anne Claire Cormack Parker of Huntsville, Alabama passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 20, 2026, at the age of 89. She was born on January 2, 1937, in Glendale, California to the late Robert and Louise Cormack.
Anne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Anne moved from California to Dawson, Georgia at the age of 14. She graduated from Terrel High School in 1954 before continuing her education at Auburn University where she majored in elementary education. While at Auburn, she met her husband, Glenn, and they were married September 1, 1957.
Anne had three daughters and was a devoted mother and homemaker. She was active in several groups and organizations supporting her children’s activities. She was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church for almost 60 years where she served as a Sunday School teacher for children as well as a greeter.
She was a loyal and devoted fan of the Auburn Tigers and enjoyed cheering them on whenever they played any sport.
Anne is survived by, her daughters, Suzanne Parker Scoble (Kevin), Rebecca Parker Williams (Don), and Elizabeth Parker Faulkner (Mike); grandchildren, Kyle Parker Scoble, Ryan Matthew Scoble, Julia Wright Martin (Will), Amber Williams Roberts (Andrew), Brian Allen Faulkner (Stephanie), Kelly Lynn Faulkner, and Lauren Elizabeth Faulkner (fiancé Adam Trull); nine great-grandchildren; and brother, Bob Cormack.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Arnold Parker, her parents, Robert and Louise Cormack and her sister, Elaine Cormack Berry.
There will be a graveside service for the family at Maple Hill Cemetery on March 24, 2026.
