Melissa A Lampkin, 56, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center-Amory. She was born March 27,1969 to the late James Edgar Arnold and the late Patricia Bliss Brigman. Melissa dedicated 20 years of her life to the healthcare industry, working as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She served her patients with compassion, skill, and unwavering dedication until her retirement. Nursing was not just her profession, but her calling, and she made a lasting difference in the lives of many. Outside of her career, she found joy in drawing, expressing her creativity through her artwork. Above all else, she treasured the time she spent with her family. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Community Church at Hackleburg with Bro. Dustin Atkins officiating. Burial will be in Holly Springs Cemetery in Hodges, AL. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, February 26th, at Community Church at Hackleburg and will continue on Friday from 11:00 am until service time at the church.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Lessard, of Fulton; step father, Charles Brigman of Baldwyn; sons, Shane (Lori) Arnold of Saltillo, and Tyler McDonald of Cullman, AL,; grandchildren, Autumn Arnold, Audrey McDonald, Chance McDonald, and Logan Arnold; sisters, LaDonna (Duke Brown) McCarley of Tupelo, and Marsha (Randy) Howell of GA; brothers, Tommy (Amanda) Arnold of Guin, AL, and Tony (Sheila) Arnold of Hamilton, AL; step brothers, Tony Brigman of Baldwyn, and Eric (Teresa) Brigman of Baldwyn, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by father, James Edgar Arnold; mother, Patricia Brigman, grandparents, Ella Mae and Buck Green; and paternal grandmother, Letha Arnold.
Pallbearers will be Andrew McCarley, Hunter Arnold, Triston Arnold, Duke Brown, Randy Howell, and Chaston McCarley.
