Lutherene Bowling Greenhaw  Ms. Lutherene Bowling Greenhaw, age 96, of the Mt Tabor/Pine Ridge community in Morgan County, Alabama, passed away at Hospice Family Care midmorning Monday, February 16, 2026. Born in Morgan County, AL, on January 3, 1930, she was the daughter of Luther Walter Bowling and Ella Lee Lawrence Bowling. Lutherene was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Glenn Greenhaw, in 2019. She devoted her professional life as a medical records transcriber, working at both Arab Hospital and Crawford Long Memorial Hospital, which is now Emory University Hospital.

A faithful member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church, Lutherene was highly regarded among her church family and surrounding community.

Lutherene leaves behind a loving family including her daughter, Beverly Lemons (Larry); son, Walter G. Greenhaw (Glenda); grandchildren, Michael Greenhaw, Christy Bratcher (Mike); Eric Lemons (Amy), and Jill Pruitt (Scott); eight great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Glenn Greenhaw; parents, Luther and Ella Lee Bowling; brothers, Marvin Bowling, Carl Bowling and Glenn Bowling; sisters, Carrie Garrison, Cora Lee Fowler, Grace Fowler and Bessie Junkins.

Services for Lutherene will be Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Pine Ridge Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon with the funeral service beginning at 2:00pm. Brother Eldridge Criscoe and Brother Ryan Childers will officiate services. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery with Eric Lemons, Michael Greenhaw, Scott Pruitt, Mike Bratcher, Clay Lemons, and Hunter Greenhaw serving as pall bearers. Honorary pallbearers are Haden Greenhaw, Bryce Bratcher, Carson Bratcher, McCain Pruitt, and Josh McCutcheon. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel assisting the family with arrangements.
