Rosa Gonzalez Romero, age 62 of Valley Head, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026. She was born in Mexico to the late Guadalupe Romero & Ma. Luisa Garcia.
A funeral mass will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church with burial following in the Glenwood Cemetery. A Rosary service will begin at 1:30 p.m. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by her children, Margarita Gonzalez (Adan), Diego Gonzalez, Ana Gonzalez (Pedro), Braulio Gonzalez (Dina), Maria Gonzalez (Benito), Graciela Ramirez (Diego), Rosa Linda McAllister (Bailey), and Leo Gonzalez; sisters, Ma. Luz Hernandez, Audelia Rodriguez, Maria Avila, and Irma Ramos; 14 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raul Gonzalez Vega; and parents, Guadalupe Romero and Ma. Luisa Garcia.
