COLBERT COUNTY-This month’s edition of What’s Happening In Colbert County  is full of local highlights, including a wide variety of Valentine’s Day events across Colbert County. There are plenty of events to discover this February!

January 20- February 28, 2026 – Favorite Things: The Shoals Collects! Tennessee
Valley Museum of Art, 511 N. Water St., Tuscumbia. Favorite Things: The Shoals Collects! is
an exhibition at the Tennessee Valley Museum of Art featuring sculpture, ceramic, fiber,
drawing, and painting. The exhibit runs from January 20 through February 28, 2026. For

February 1, 2026 – Groundhog Coffee’s 2nd Annual Hogapalooza, Groundhog Coffee
Co., 320 N. Montgomery Ave., Sheffield. Groundhog Coffee’s 2nd annual Hogapalooza will
be held on February 1, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Groundhog Coffee. This event
features special menu items, giveaways, a second annual coffee sack race, live music, and

February 2, 2026 – Walt Merrell Presentation, The Logan Room, 307 N. Montgomery
Ave., Sheffield. Walt Merrell, author of Shepherding Outdoors, will host a special program at
The Logan Room on Monday, February 2, 2026. The evening begins with small bites at 5:30
PM, followed by the main program at 6:30 PM. While this event is free and sponsored by

February 5, 2026 – Valentine Craft Night, Muscle Shoals Public Library, 1918 Avalon
Ave., Muscle Shoals. Muscle Shoals Public Library is hosting an Adult Craft Night where
participants can create Book Page Hearts, a project that blends a love of books with
crafting. The event is scheduled for Thursday, February 5th, 2026, at 5:30 P.M.. Tickets are

February 12, 2026 – Women In Business Galentine’s Paint & Sip, Southern Gem, 222
East 5th St., Tuscumbia. The Women in Business Galentine’s Paint & Sip will be held on
Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at The Southern Gem in Tuscumbia.
Presented by The Southern Gem and the Shoals Chamber of Commerce, this networking event features a guided floral watercolor session led by Emily Cooper Studio, with light bites and beverages provided by Turbo Coffee. February 12, 2026 – Live Music: Pride of the North Bank, The Woods at River Road,

February 13-14, 2026 – Northwest Alabama Farm Toy Show, Clarion Inn, 4900 Hatch
Blvd., Sheffield. Get ready for a weekend of agricultural excitement as the Farm Toy Show
kicks off on Friday, February 13th, from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM, followed by an all-day event
on Saturday, February 14th, from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. The Clarion Inn will be transformed
into a haven for farm toy enthusiasts, offering a unique and diverse collection ranging from
1/64th scale to pedal tractors, trucks, and more. Admission is $3.00 for adults, with

Whether you are celebrating Valentine’s Day or looking to escape it, this event offers a
relaxed environment focused on trail time and community. Groups will be organized in the
morning based on vehicle capability and driver experience, and while trail leaders will be
available, participants are reminded that Hawk Pride is a technical park where conditions
