Iva Lang Ivey, age 97 of Horton, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Albertville Nursing Home.
Iva is survived by her two sons, Steve Lang (Rosalyn) and Allen Lang (Sarah); 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and a special nephew, Greg Johnson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hayward and Rhoda Crawford; Husbands, Floyd Dalton ‘Doc” Lang and James E. Ivey; and a grandson, Adrian Lang.
Iva was a member of the Nixon Chapel United Methodist Church. She worked in retail for many years. She loved to sew, travel, and spend time with her family.
Her funeral services will be at the Albertville Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, January,14, 2026. The family will receive friends at 12:30 until 2. The service will begin at 2 in the chapel with Bro. Ossie Fowler and Bro. Larry Walls officiating. She will be laid to rest at Bethany Baptist Church cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Aaron Lang, Daniel Lang, Alex Lang, Reese Gardner, Alvin Gurley, and Greg Johnson.
