Two residents were able to escape prior to our arrival by jumping from a second floor window. One male resident suffered
severe smoke inhalation with a female resident sustaining minor smoke inhalation. These residents were treated on the scene by fire and AMR Lifeguard personnel, then transported to NAMC. The male resident was later flown to UAB for treatment of his injuries.
