Doris Jean Anderson, 90, of Athens, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025, in Limestone County. She was born on August 15, 1935, in Limestone County to Homer and Ruby Rogers. She is preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband, William F. Anderson.
She is survived by one son, Bill Wolfe.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, and she enjoyed playing bingo and WII Bowling.
There will be a chapel service on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 11 a.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with Doug Fields officiating. The visitation will be from 10-10:50 a.m. Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.
