Lois Jean Bruner, age 93, of Belvidere, Tennessee, passed away on December 15, 2025, at McArthur Manor in Manchester, Tennessee. She was born on November 28, 1932, in Middletown, Ohio, to the late Andrew and Catherine (Martin) Volarich. Lois was a devoted homemaker who took great pride in caring for her home and raising her children. She loved spending time outdoors and especially enjoyed birding. A woman with a feisty yet loving personality, Lois was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who was immensely proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was known for bragging about them to anyone who would listen. She was a faithful member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Bruner; grandson, John Patrick Bruner; brother, Richard Volarich; and daughter-in-law, Margie Bruner. She is survived by her children, Cynthia Bruner, Gregory Bruner, and Diane Bruner (Michael Hoover); grandchildren, Megan (Mike) Nickolai, Andrew (Paige) Bruner, Logan (Dylan) Hyder, Daniel Hoover, Christopher Hoover (Heather Amato), and McKenna Hoover; great-grandchildren, Sadie Rose, Mary, Jack, Anna, Scarlett, Luca, Winnie, Frannie, and one great-grandchild on the way; and special friends, John and Janie Lovett.
