Willie Joe Harrison, 72, passed away Friday, October 24, 2025 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born in Itawamba County, MS to Willie R.C. and Vertie Mae Jackson Harrison. He was a truck driver for many years and loved to hunt and fish. He was of the Christian faith.
Funeral services will be Sunday, October 26, 3 p.m. at Trinity Assembly of God Church, Red Bay, AL with Bro. David Kelley, Patrick Brooks and Colton Harrison officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, October 25, 6-9 p.m. at Trinity Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Wells Family Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Deborah Harrison; daughter, Jessica Harrison; grandchildren, Arianna, Colton and William Harrison; sisters, Linda Webb and Brenda Wright; brother, Harold Harrison; aunt, Faye Toone; uncle, Ray Jackson; mother-in-law, Faye Wells and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Billy Harrison.
Pallbearers will be Colton Harrison, William Harrison, Keith Bryan, Jason Webb, Josh Harrison and Justin Orrick.
