Charlie Thomas Mayo, 75, passed away Monday, October 13th, 2025, at his home surrounded by family in Scotts Hill, TN. Mr. Mayo was born in Decatur County on September 1, 1950 to the late James and Alice Mayo. He was a retired truck driver.
Mr. Mayo is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Judith Dian Mayo of Scotts Hill; one daughter, Jennifer Mayo of Scotts Hill; one son, Jerry (Leslie) Mayo of Scotts Hill; three granddaughters, Layla, Adalyn, and Zoey Mayo all of Scotts Hill; two brothers, Jessie (Sheena) Mayo of Bath Springs and Fred (Bonnie) Mayo of Reagan; four sisters, Kathy (Harlan) Bingham of Bath Springs, Kay (Keith) Carroll of Decaturville, Joyce Thompson of Decaturville, and Karen (Jeff) Essary of Reagan; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lee Mayo and a sister, Brenda Mayo.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 10 AM – 9 PM and on Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 9 AM until time of service at 2 PM at Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Officiating the service will be Rev. Randle Browder and Rev Darrin Graves. Interment will follow at The Temple Cemetery in Scotts Hill.
