Mary Francis Williams, 89 of Empire, passed away Tuesday Oct. 14, 25 at her residence. She was a homemaker and was a member of Mt. Hope Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Williams; her son, Dennis Williams; granddaughter, Amy Williams, grandson, Daniel Williams; parents, Will and Effie Johnson, brothers, J.W., Johnson, Carl Johnson, James “Buddy” Johnson and Dean Johnson and her sister, Nancy Ashley.
Survivors include her children, Danny Williams (Anita), Donna Whitlock and Sharon Calloway (Danny); grandchildren, Mylola Roche (Gary), Alonna Brown (Barry), Lauren Dolorme, Tyler Robbins (Whitney), Trey Carey (Josie), Wesley Warren (Lane) and Annalisa Warren; twelve great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be Friday Oct. 17, 25 at 11:00 am in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Harce Swann will officiate. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Bremen. Visitaion is Friday morning from 10:30-11 am.
