Andrew Glendon Farris, 82, of Florence, AL passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Visitation will be from 12-1 pm at Colbert Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 with a service to follow at 1 pm in the chapel. Mike Fowler will be officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. He was a Railroad Engineer for 33 years and also a member of United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Florence Farris; former wife, Patty Sparkman Farris; and brother, Roy Dennis Farris (Joyce).
He is survived by his wife, Debra Taylor Farris; daughter, Paige Farris Fowler (Mike); sister, Nancy Ann Ocomer (Joseph); grandchildren, Dr. Mackenzie Fowler, Jessica Fowler Davenport (Matt), and Jakob Michael Fowler.
Pallbearers will be Chris Crunk, Wayne Robinson, Caleb Bond, and Larry Choate. Honorary pallbearers will be Jakob Fowler, James Haddock, and Doyle Bevis.
