Linda Lou Brooks Scott, 78, of Huntsville, AL passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 20, 2025. Ms. Scott was born on July 30,1947 in Gadsden, Alabama to Paul Ray Brooks and Ethel Yancey Brooks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hugh Scott; brothers, Talmadge Ray Brooks and Kenneth Wayne Brooks; and sister, Mary Elizabeth Ashley.
She is survived by one sister, Marie Tice of Post Falls, Idaho; her four children, Kristi V. Cox (Tony), Donald L. Vice II, Elizabeth V. Daly (Rod) and John L. Vice; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private family graveside service will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery.
