Mr. Richard “Dick” Kutschman, Sr., passed away on Monday, 15 September 2025 in Jackson. He was born 30 June 1944 in Detroit, Michigan to the late August and Delores Kutschman. A Vietnam Veteran, he proudly served in the U. S. Navy. Later, a small business owner, he built and remodeled homes for over 30 years. He loved his family, gardening, and his dog, Stinky.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mrs. Minnie Faye Kutschman; two sons, Richard Kutschman, Jr. (Rowena) and Matthew Kutschman; a daughter, Kelly Murphy (Brian); and three grandchildren, Dr. Marena Kutschman, Marisa Kutschman, and Brenna Murphy. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Kutschman and Wilfred Kutschman. The family has chosen cremation.
