Aletta Faye Winslett, 89, of Arab passed away Friday, August 22, 2025 peacefully surrounded by family. Mrs. Winslett was born November 22, 1935 in Manitou, OK to Charlie Willis and Ruby Rhodes Willis. Aletta and her husband, Charles Winslett, have shared 66 years together, all filled with love.
Aletta was a housewife, enjoying needlecrafts, doing puzzles, and seeking out hidden gems with weekly visits to Caring Heart Thrift Store.
Preceding Aletta in death were her parents, Charlie and Ruby Willis, her twin sister Coletta Willis, her sister Imogene Winslett (Howard), her sister Betty Lou Heien (David) and sister Wanda Joyce Jackson (Vernie).
Survivors include her devoted husband, Charles, her beloved children, Brent (Renee) Winslett of Arab, and Sonya Kelley (Bobby) of Guntersville, brother Eugene Willis (Joyce) of Las Vegas, NV, grandchildren Clay (Carleigh) Winslett (Arab) and Kyle Winslett (Arab) great grandson Graham Winslett.
Graveside service Sunday, August 24 at Arab Memorial Cemetery. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel entrusted with arrangements.
