Gladys Marie Williamson, age 89, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 o’clock pm, Tuesday, August 26th, at Mallory’s Cemetery in Chapmansboro with Bro. Gene Parton officiating.
Burial will follow with family & friends serving as pallbearers.
Mrs. Gladys was born on June 24, 1936, in Columbia, Tennessee, to the late Roscoe & Gladys Aldridge Jones. She was a homemaker and also worked in the cafeteria for the school system. She enjoyed gardening and cooking and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by all her siblings.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Charles Williamson; daughters, Sherrie (Jeff) Leopard and Phyllis Pemberton; and grandchildren, Jeffrey Kyle Leopard, Karilynn Joy Leopard, and Elizabeth Christine Leopard.
