Kade Charles Rochelle, age 25, of Pleasant View, Tennessee passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 o’clock pm, Thursday, July 17th, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Mark Smith officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 1:00PM until the hour of service at 3:00PM.
Kade was born on May 11, 2000, in Springfield, Tennessee, to Kevin Rochelle & Sheila (Richard) Purvis. He graduated from Austin Peay State University in May, 2025, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art. He was gifted not only in art, but music as well. He loved to create his own music and played both the guitar and piano. He was also passionate about video games and was working on developing a game using his own art and music. Kade had a big heart for people, especially for the homeless. He was an encourager who was always asking others how they were doing. He had a big heart for animals as well. He was a Christian.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Keith; aunt, Sheri Rochelle; maternal great-grandmother, Mary Jane Orf; paternal great-grandparents, Papa Robert E. Felts and Mattie Rochelle.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Presley Rochelle (fiancé Derek Schmidt), Courtney Purvis, and Nicholas Purvis; paternal grandparents, Eddie (Sarah) Rochelle and Jeanie Keith; maternal grandparents, Charles (Marcia) Orf; uncles, John (Dara) Orf, Scott (Shana) Keith, and Brian (Noelle) Keith; aunts, Shannon (Darin) Phillips, Sheena (Brian) Persons, and Ginger (Jacob) Wright; nephews, Noah & Sawyer; many loving cousins; and his fur babies, Yogi, Rosemary, & Phoebe.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be made in Kade’s memory to fund an art scholarship at Austin Peay State University. These may be sent to his sister’s Venmo at presleyrochelle.
