Marvin "Junior" Woodard Redferrin, Jr. Marvin “Junior” Woodard Redferrin, Jr. age 90, of White House passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025 at his home. He was born November 20, 1934 in Cross Plains, TN to Woodard & Bertha Hunter Redferrin. He started and ran Redferrin Construction Company and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He loved fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He loved telling stories and making people laugh. He built multiple homes throughout Robertson and Sumner counties. He built the Field House, which is dedicated to him, and weight room at White House High School, all of the pavilions at the city park and the fire station on Highway 76. He was an avid White House Blue Devils fan and volunteered at the football games, was a member of the Chain Gang and the Quarterback Club. He had previously volunteered at the East Robertson football games, as well and been a member of their Quarterback Club.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret Elizabeth Mink Redferrin; brothers, Earl Redferrin, Horace Redferrin, Ray Redferrin and Sam Redferrin; sisters, Mary Evans, Betty Gann and Shirley Key. He is survived by his sons, Woody (Pamala) Redferrin, Hendersonville, TN, Mark (April) Redferrin, White House, TN; daughter, Lynn (Charlie) Holt, Murfreesboro, TN; brother, Roger Redferrin, Cross Plains, TN; sisters, Barbara Ann Nicholson, Pleasant View, TN and Margaret Tuberville, White House, TN; 3 granddaughters, Abbey Redferrin, Hannah Collins (Mitchell Berger) and Allie Collins (Michael Springer); 2 grandsons, Dillon Holt and Austin Holt; great grandson, Oliver Holt. Funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 11am in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with David Swanger officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with military honors and with Mike Webb, Lance Webb, Shannon Groves, Randy Seabolt, Ricky Seabolt and Chris Seabolt serving as pallbearers. Visitation is planned for Wednesday, July 16, 2025 5-8PM and Thursday, July 17, 2025 9-11AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are requested to the White House Church of Christ meal ministry.
