Elliott Parker, 79, Town Creek, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 2, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Scottie Hill and Bro. R.C. Borden officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Town Creek.
Elliott was preceded in death by his parents, L.U. and Mittie J. Parker; parents-in-law, Charles and Mary Weaver; sisters, Gail Patterson, Jerri Nell Terry, and Doris Terry; brothers, Billy Ray Parker, Wayne Parker, Bobbie Gene Parker, Cecil Guy Parker, and James Parker; brothers-in-law, William McDonald, David McDonald, Joseph McDonald, James Weaver, Gene Weaver, and Robert Ziegler; and sister-in-law, Barbara Steel.
Elliott is survived by his wife, Florene Parker; son, Carl Elliott Parker; brother, Roger Halbrooks; brother-in-law, Herman Weaver; and sister-in-law, Mary Ballmer.
He loved his family and will be greatly missed.
Pallbearers will be Herman Weaver, Rodney Weaver, Roger Halbrooks, Jimmy Luallen, David Patterson, and Hammer Patterson.
