Leonard “Jebo” Tidwell, age 74, of Killen, died Saturday, May 25, 2013, at his residence.
He was a Killen, Ala., native all his life and he worked for the city of Florence for about 35 years.
Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow immediately in the chapel with Edward Burbank and Cletus Tidwell officiating. Burial will be in Blue Water Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Burbank, Cody Burbank, Travis Montgomery, Donnie McGee, Johnathon McGee and Ronnie McGee. Honorary pallbearer will be Robert Tidwell.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Vernon Tidwell, and grandson, Dustin Burbank. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sue Tidwell; children, Troy (Renea) McGee, Denise (Edward) Burbank and Darlene (Roger Holder) Tidwell; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Stella (Pete) Deluna and Betty Tidwell; and brother, Cletus (Peggy) Tidwell.
