LIMESTONE COUNTY— Sheriff Joshua McLaughlin today officially announced his candidacy for re-election as Sheriff of Limestone County.

Since taking office, Sheriff McLaughlin has focused on improving departmental transparency, modernizing operations, and building strong partnerships with local residents, community leaders, and law enforcement agencies. His administration has emphasized integrity, accountability, and a community-first approach to law enforcement.
“As we look to the future, I remain committed to serving with integrity, transparency, and an unwavering dedication to protecting and serving every person in Limestone County,” McLaughlin said. “There is more work to be done, and I am ready to continue the mission we’ve started.
