MADISON COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident in Madison County that has taken the ;ife of a Madison woman:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 1:14 p.m. Thursday, October 8, has claimed the life of a Madison woman.
Blakely N. Rodgers, 30, was fatally injured when the 2015 Subaru Forester that she was driving left the roadway, overturned and then stuck a utility pole. After the initial impact, the Subaru caught fire. Rodgers, who was not using a seat belt at the time of crash, was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on U.S. 72 near Brock Road, approximately three miles east of Huntsville, in Madison County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
