Ms. Rena Grace Wright was on born January 28, 1942 and passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025 at the age of 83.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie West; two sons, Joey Miller, and John (Keisha) Miller; grandchildren, Nicholas (Chelsea) Venable, Brad (Dawn) Venable, Josh (Athena) Venable, Amy Venable, Alex Zimmerman, and Kenley Ferguson; great-grandchildren, Maegan Venable, Alexie Venable, Shelbee Venable, Shannyn Venable, and Jaylee Venable; plus, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Annie Mae Thompson; 4 brothers; and 6 sisters.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Scottsboro Funeral Home. Burial will take place immediately following the funeral at Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
