Mrs. Dorothy Pearl Knight, age 97, of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.
She is survived by her daughters, Mildred LeCompte, Margaret Penachio, Joyce Murphy; sons, Kenneth Steel, Barry Knight, Charles E. Knight, Scottie Knight; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Glenda Soloman, Joyce Olson, Doris Pleasant, Carol Langston; brother, George Travis; a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John I. Knight; children, Eloise Kennemann, Brenda Roberts, Dale Holifield, Venetia Knight, Imagene Steele, and 7 siblings.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at Scottsboro Funeral Home. Burial will take place immediately following the funeral at Travis Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
