Pat Diane Ward, 69 of Bremen, passed away Tuesday May 20, 25 at UAB Medical Center. Pat was the best Maw Maw ever. She loved all her grandkids.
Funeral services will be Friday May 23, 25 at 1:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Wallace Quinn will officiate. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Baptist Cemetery in Bremen. Visitation is Friday from 12-1 pm at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her son, Joe David “Heavy” Phillips; parents, Charles Luther and Ida Helen Sayre; brothers, Charles Edward “Fred” Sayre, James Earl “Cotton” Sayre and Sidney Leon “Julio” Sayre; nieces, Stephanie and Brandy Sayre and nephew, Mark Sayre.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, James Dwight Ward; children, James Keith Ward (Tara), Terry Ward, Cody Ward (Briana), Earl Phillips and Donald Ray Phillips; grandchildren, Brittany Kershaw (Kenny), Jay Ward, Carrie Ward, Michael Ward, Taylor Stone (Drake), Ashleigh Davenport (Mark) and Karlie, Elijah and Caroline Ward; great grandchildren, Cooper, Molly, Jameson, Alivia, Avery Snoe, Avery Daelynn, Lena, Lily, Olivia, Kollins and Leathel; sister, Missy Sayre (Janice); several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
