Lyndal Wayne Bowen, 80, of Lewisburg, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at his home.
Mr. Bowen lived in the Lewisburg community his whole life where he was a member of Mooresville Baptist Church. He retired after 20 years of truck driving and enjoyed spending his free time playing computer games.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe Turner and Annie Butcher, two brothers, two stepsons, Freddie Smith and Nelson Ross Smith, as well as one stepdaughter, Jana Graviet.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Edith Pack Bowen, one stepson, Tony Martin Smith, two brothers, Jackie Bowen and Richard Bowen, five grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, as well as two nieces and two nephews.
A Visitation will be held for Mr. Bowen at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM. After Visitation, a Graveside Service is scheduled to take place at Gatlin Cemetery with service time beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery. Bro. Steve Hargrove will officiate the service.
