Margaret Gale Rooker, 71, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Cleveland, OH and was a homemaker. Gale was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Belmont, MS.
Services will be Saturday, March 8, 3 p.m. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Glenn Bridgmon officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, March 8, 1-3 p.m. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by three sons, David Rooker, Byhalia, MS, Jeff Rooker (Stephanie), Pickwick, TN and Joel Rooker (Erica), Dennis, MS; two sisters, Teresa Bolton (Ronnie), Belmont, MS and Melissa Woods (Duke), Hodges, AL; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Tonya Gentry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Rooker; one brother, Keith Gentry; two sisters, Judy Allison Pruitt and Vicky Cougle; her mother, Virgie Castleberry and father, Vernon Gentry.
Pallbearers will be Luke Rooker, Adam Rooker, T.J. Allison, Clay Allison and Paden Allison.
