Lillie Louise, of Jasper, died Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Baptist Health Walker Hospital. She was born February 12, 1938, and would have turned 87 years old next month.
Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 15 at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will begin 1 hour earlier at 5:00 p.m. Hollis Alexander will officiate. A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Guthrie Cemetery in Townley, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her Parents-Ethel and Arnold Guthrie; Brothers-Roy and Ronnie Guthrie; Granddaughter-Kimberly Williams; Great grandson-Austin Gardner; Son-in-law-Gene Vandiver; Father of her children-William McDonald.
She is survived by her Children: Daughters-Rhonda Vandiver, Vicky Oliver, Lisa Jones and Terri (Jim) Culverson; Son-Howard (Sally) McDonald; Brother-Floyd Guthrie; Numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
She previously worked at the Arrow Shirt Factory, Community Hospital, and Walker Regional Medical Center (where she retired).
Mom will be dearly missed by friends and family who loved her very much. Request in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the charity of your choice.
