Mary Louise Barker, age 71 of Cordova, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Mount Hermon Cemetery. Robin Gurganus will officiate.
Mrs. Barker was preceded in death by her Husband-Dearl Barker; Father-Floyd Gurganus.
She is survived by her Mother-Betty James; Daughter-Misty Douthitt (Dan) of Madison, AL; Son-Robert “Bob” Thomason (Miranda) of Sumiton, AL; Sisters-Debra Rhodes (Charles) of Cordova, AL, Gail James of North Carolina and Libby Sumner (Charles) of Texas; Grandchildren-Jonah and Maranda Jenkins, Baily and Kamree Thomason, Lailah Douthitt, Reaghan and Zac Stewart, Alexa Doughitt.
