Ty was first and foremost a Godly Christian man. He grew up in Haleyville, graduating from Haleyville High School in 2004. He would go on to attend Northwest Shoals Community College where he would graduate with an associates in Information Technology, and meet his wife Jenni. They married in 2010, and welcomed daughter, Kennedy, in 2015. They were members of Mountain View Baptist church in Phil Campbell for a number of years before joining the church body at First Baptist Church in Haleyville where Ty went on to serve as a Deacon.

Ty excelled at many things in life, and had interests that spanned from sports, to hiking, to any and all things electronics. He was incredibly talented in the world of technology working in IT positions with Traders and Farmers Bank, Piggly Wiggly Distributing Company, and most recently served as the COO of IT and Operations for Nova Bank, Huntsville.

He was a generous man, often giving of his time and talent to anyone who asked. He was a loyal and steadfast friend. A loving son who looked forward to daily conversations with his dad, mom, and brother. A beloved nephew, cousin, and uncle.

Of all the roles he filled in life, he excelled the most as a husband and father. He lived his life dedicated to his girls. He was a great provider, strong protector, the best encourager, the comic relief, and an incredible leader. He was an incredible partner to Jenni, and the absolute best dad a girl could have ever dreamed of having. He didn’t leave an ounce of love on the table. He poured it all out.

Ty will be missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. As a family, our hearts are immensely broken, but we stand on the promises of God our Savior. We have hope for we know that we will be united again for all of eternity.

”Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.“
