It is with deep sorrow we announce the death of Ivan John Krivutza, 92, of Huntsville, Alabama who passed away Monday, February 12, 2024. Ivan was born in East Rochester, New York on January 21, 1932. He served in the United States Air Force from January 1951 to January 1961. He worked for NASA as a Procurement Specialist until his retirement in 1982. He was an avid golfer, lover of crossword puzzles and never missed an opportunity to tell stories of his youth growing up in East Rochester or of his many adventures in the Air Force.
Ivan was preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna Krivutza; brother, Carl Krivutza; wife, Helen Young Krivutza; and daughter, Stephanie Krivutza Payne. Ivan is survived by daughters, Candy Barr (David) and Carla Behel (Joshua Graff); grandsons, Christopher Hutchinson, Chad Payne (Brittany), Joshua Payne, Tyler Behel (Kinzie), Daniel Barr and Nicholas Behel; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
