A Celebration of Life Service for Sandy Sanford Henson, 57 of Rienzi, MS, will be Monday, February 12, 2024 at 2:30 P M at Mt. Olive Church of God with interment to follow in Williams Cemetery. Pastor Donald Boren and Jerius Maxey will officiate the service with Stephen Henson delivering the eulogy. Visitation will be Sunday, February 11, 2024 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Magnolia Funeral Home – South on 45 South and Monday, February 12, 2024 from 1:30 until service time at Mt. Olive Church of God. Mrs. Henson was born September 25, 1966 in Jackson, MS to Charles W. Sanford and Dorothy Ruth Jackson Mahler. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Olive Church of God. She enjoyed playing family games and feeding the fish in her goldfish pond. She was very family oriented and loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. Sandy is survived by her husband of 31 years, Stephen Henson; her daughters, Addison Henson (Zach Killough) and Chloe’ Barger (Seth); 3 grandchildren, Riley Hedges, Roman Winsett and Thomas Killough; her brother, C.M. Sanford (Pam); her mother-in-law, Maxine Henson; her BHS/Rienzi Kids; other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles W. Sanford; her mother, Dorothy Mahler and her father-in-law, Franklin Henson. Pallbearers will be Zach Killough, Benjamin Henson, Caleb Henson, Seth Barger, Philip Henson and Josh Barnes. Honorary pallbearers will be Riley Hedges, Roman Winsett and Thomas Killough . Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Sandy Sanford Henson.
