Garry Allan Boone, 64, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, December 16, 2023. Born in Waukegan, IL at Victory Memorial Hospital, Garry had lived in Pontotoc, MS since 1984. He graduated from Zion Benton High School, then attending The College of Lake County, Gurnee, IL for welding and heating and air conditioning. He loved working with his hands and was a master jack of all trades. When he wasn’t working, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will truly be missed by his many friends and family.
Survivors include his mother, Linda Mayberry(83); his two sons, Curt Wayne(36) and Cory Lee Boone(36); two brothers, Barry Boone(66) and Terry Boone(61); sister Lori McKnight(58) (Ted); and his grandchildren, Caleb Kyle Boone(19), Caden Joe Campanaro(17), and Kamden Boone(13).
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Cecil Boone in 1964; and his son, Craig Allan Boone in 2018.
Services will be Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 11AM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc. Visitation will be Friday, December 22nd 5-8PM and Saturday, December 23rd 10AM until service time. Burial will follow in Baldwin Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Caleb Boone, Russell McGillivary. Steve McGillivary, Mackenzie Stewart, Jimmy Samson, and Cody Jennings.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Caden Campanaro.
