Beverly Dale Springer, 59, of Florence, peacefully passed away surrounded by family, December 1, 2023. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Beverly loved people and never met a stranger. Her early years were spent with family camping, singing, playing the clarinet, and playing ball as a hind catcher. She studied at Northwest Shoals Community College (Accounting). Beverly worked at Food World in the Floral Department for 25 years. She enjoyed plants, flowers, life and time at the beach anytime.
Visitation will be Monday, December 4, 2023 from 12-2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Daniel Michael and Joshua Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Isaac Springer, Levi Springer, Austin Littleton, Derrick Hood, Scott Ahlf, and Charlie McCreless.
Jon Mason McCreless, Christopher Ahlf, Tim, Todd, Chad, and Brad Springer will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Ms. Springer was preceded in death by her father, John Richard Springer.
She is survived by her mother, Edanell Poe Springer; sons, Jon Dylan McCreless and Michael Corylee McCreless (Victoria) all of Florence, AL; brother, David Springer (Tammy) of Florence, AL; sisters, Deborah Springer of Florence, AL, and Cathy Springer Ahlf (Scott) of Madison, AL; grandchildren, Jon Mason McCreless, and Daisy Waller both of Florence, AL; and many nieces and nephews.
