Nancy Elizabeth Teague Willisson, 86, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023. Mrs. Willisson was born in Gadsden, Alabama to Theodore DeWitt and Gladys Pace Teague and grew up in Ashville, Alabama. She graduated from the University Alabama, Tuscaloosa where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega social society. After graduation, she taught mathematics at the University of Alabama in both Tuscaloosa and Huntsville, Grissom High School and Calhoun Community College and was also a software developer with Computer Sciences Corporation and other government contractors. She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
Survivors include husband, Robert Earle Willisson; sons, Pace Gailliard Willisson of Cambridge, MA, and Andrew LaCoste Willisson and Christopher Teague Willisson and his wife, Janet, all of Huntsville; and grandchildren, Eric Palmer Willisson of Somerville, MA and Alex Taylor Willisson of Arlington, MA.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 3, 2023, at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 12200 Bailey Cove Road, Huntsville, AL. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Donavan Cain and the Rev. Jeannie Randall officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to South Huntsville Library Building Fund or a charity of your choice.
