Jerry Glenn Kimbrough, age 67, of Russellville, passed away May, 13, 2023.

Jerry was born and raised in Russellville, AL. He was a 1973 graduate of Russellville High School. Jerry worked for Russellville South Central Bell AT&T for 30 years as a lineman and cable repair. Upon retirement he graduated from Northwest shoals Nursing Class and received numerous achievement awards. Jerry also worked as an RN for 13 years at Shoals Hospital, where he received “Nurse of the Year”, as well as J.W Sommer Rehabilitation. Over the past two years he received his Real Estate License and worked alongside his friends at American Realty Company. Jerry was a Deacon and active member of First Baptist Church. He truly loved his church, church family and his D-life Bible Study Group.

He was married to this beloved wife Patti, for 47 Years. He loved his Lord and Savior and serving him brought him the most joy… He enjoyed spending his retired days on the lake with his wife and working on all his building projects. Jerry was a proud father of son, John David and Daughter, Jennifer. He was affectionately known as “BoBo” to his four grandsons, which was his favorite title of all. Jerry had a personality that filled the room. H loved to make you laugh and was a friend to all. He could be counted on at any moment and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Audrey Kimbrough, Mom, Audie Mae Kimbrough and Brother Gray Kimbrough.

He survived by his Wife, Patti (Wiley) Kimbrough; Son, John David Kimbrough (Lesley); Daughter, Jennifer (Rodney) Cox; grandsons, Wiley Kimbrough, Cole Kimbrough, Greyson Cox, and Gage Cox; Sister-in-law, Mandy Kimbrough; Brother-in-law, Scotty Wiley; Stepmother, Madrue Kimbrough; Stepsisters, Cindy Prestiege, Maricia Bloom, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Russellville, on Tuesday May 16, 2023
From 10am-11am with the funeral service following at 11am. Interment will be at Franklin Memorial Garden.
The pallbearers will be Scotty Wiley, Lanny Norris, Dan Terry, Gene Ellison, Pete Smith, Bill Jackson, Dean Richardson, Mickey Gerstman, and Bobby Wright. Honorary pallbearers include First Baptist Church Deacons, his beloved “Breakfast Buddies”, D-Life Bible Study Group, Don Cox, Jerry Carroll, and
Dr. A.E.Terry.
