On May 4, 2023, Anna Sly passed away due to complications during a planned surgical procedure. She was 82 years old. Born in Germany, Anna was a resident of Madison, Alabama for the past 48 years. She was a retired cosmologist but, even so, she continued cutting the hair of friends and family. Anna loved to crochet, cook, and go to the beach.
Anna is survived by her son, Tom Sly (Chere Sly); her daughter Theresa Sly (Martin Brueggman); six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family invites you to join them for a homegoing service. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m., this Tuesday, May 9th at Laughlin Service Funeral Home, 2320 Bob Wallace Ave. Huntsville, Alabama. Burial will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens, 6810 University Dr. Huntsville, Alabama, 35806.
