Marty Lynn Baskins, age 59, of Tuscumbia, passed away May 3, 2023. The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home of Florence, on Sunday, May 7, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Tommy Cowden officiating. Burial will be at Stoney Point Church of Christ Cemetery.
Mr. Baskins was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Baskins and Juanita Holt Pounders; and brother, Travis Holt.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Tammy Ivey Baskins; children, Donnie Baskins (Lexie Pennington), Sissy Baskins (Josh McClain), Marty Baskin and Gregory Baskins; siblings, Patrisha Baskins (Doug Woods), Trent Baskins, Billy Baskins (Shellia), Rocky Baskins, Scottie Baskins, Judy Pounders, and Jody Hanback; grandchildren, Devin Riggs, Destiny Riggs, Dustin Riggs, Jordan Baskins, Brody Baskins, Mackenzie Baskins, Makayla Baskins and Arianana Baskins.
Marty loved Bingo, the Dallas Cowboys, Braves baseball, WWE and cowboy boots, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
Pallbearers will be Wes Riggs, Josha McClain, Jimmy Ivey, Brandon Ivey, Keith Filders, Jason Futrell and Charles Wright.
