He is survived by daughters Belinda Cusimano (Greg) and Amanda McCormick (Scott); grandchildren Lee Cusimano (Ann Marie), Joey Cusimano, Bethany Cusimano, Emily West (Drake), Andrew Cusimano (Elizabeth), Tyler McCormick (Lyndsey), Savannah McCormick, Lexi McCormick, Hunter Moore (Haleigh), brothers Edker Dunkin, Billy Dunkin, Buddy Dunkin., several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Dunkin was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and all things outdoors. He loved to teach his grandkids and other family members about the outdoors. He was skilled in many trades being a journeyman electrician, plumber, and HVAC technician, and retired from CRMC after many years in the maintenance department. Even after retirement, he could be found helping a friend with home projects or working in his small engine shop.
Mr. Dunkin was a loyal friend and loved to help people when he could. He enjoyed meeting all types of people, especially if it involved a yard sale or bartering transaction.
He enjoyed a good laugh and was known to joke even with strangers. During the last year of his life, among various medical personnel, he was known for his quick wit and joking attitude.
The family will have a Celebration of Life on Sunday, May 7 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation from 2:00 to 3:00; Celebration of Life service at 3:00. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
